Take note at this year’s SXSW Festival March 10th -19th, 2017, to catch Indosesian indie dream pop outfit lightcraft. Above is the airy wonder video for “Another Life” and it’s a taste of the band’s 5 track EP of the same name.
While they are new to me, lightcraft has been heralded by Indonesian and Malaysian mags like Rolling Stone, Nylon and Seventeen. Listening to their Another Life EP evokes imagery of nature walks and outdoor excitement. If you dig Band of Horses, you’ll probably be an instant lightcraft fan. Call me an instant fan, because this is friggin’ great music.
For $4 you can download lightcraft’s EP released back on November 26, 2016 from US iTunes. “Build a Fire” is another stellar single, but I implore you to buy the whole EP. You can also find their last album Colours of Joy from 2013.
Another big reason to check them out at SXSW this year is that their set will see the group previewing material from their upcoming third full-length album, which will be released in late 2017 or early 2018.
