Suiyobi no Campanella- “シャクシャイン” MV

Suiyobi no Campanella raps in the rain in “シャクシャイン”  or “Shakushain” or “Syakusyain.”

I don’t know the history of Shakushain, I just know there is a statue about him in Japan. This wikipedia page should shed some light. Sounds like a go-getter of a leader who started a revolution.

Anyhoo, let’s get back to this single which I also know very little about. Is it new? Probably. I don’t have any info as to where to get it. All I know is that Suiyobi no Campanella has another great song on her hands with clicky percussion and what sounds like steel drums.

The video is visually stunning with lots of popping color and stop motion bits. I love the city scene with the taxi cab lights flashing.

Check out what’s new over at Suiyobi no Campanella’s official website. Don’t forget to like her on Facebook. Hopefully some more details will follow.
