Dean Fujioka is a 21st century boy. So he likes underground fight clubs, acoustic guitars, whistles and Liberace frilly jackets.
Don’t like it? He’ll beat your ass up. Dean Fujioka is a triple threat, singer and actor and fighter.
“My Dimension” is a surprisingly great theme song for the movie I am Ichihasha. Check the website.
From the beginning spaghetti syle whistles, to the rappity rap over acoustic guitar riffs, “My Dimension” will have you hooked.
Although I keep thinking of Bad Religion’s single..
Look for Dean Fujioka’s single on itunes.jp. Hit him up at his official website.
GLORY HILL is going “NOWHERE” except to art school with their soundtrack to the movie 上京ものがたり (Tokyo Story).

You can climb up the Warner Artist Page to Glory Hill to read more about the band and learn about the single out 8.21.2013.
School is scary. Just check out the promotional video for T-Palette mini All Star’s single “Hereafter” which is really just a trailer for the exremely blood movie ADA.
The song sounds somber and emotional with the group chorus, but also is a contrast to the violent beatdown with a hammer video. Awesome!?
This single is out 8.21.2013 at Yesasia and CDJapan.
Check out T-Palette Records page to see all their artists.
Whoa. Esie sounds like a grungy rock version of Bjork. Screaming in dispair and in a lot of pain.. I could see why Guillaume Tauveron, the director of The Blood (2012) wanted her voice for his soundtrack. The song “Words are Dying.” Yes, Esie sounds like she is dying.
I guess The Blood is a horror movie? It’s a french film, shot in Japan about a salaryman who is haunted by his wife’s ghost? Maybe. Those crazy French. This coming from a guy with a french last name.
Anyway, read more about Esie at her official website and IMDB for the lowdown on The Blood. You can become a fan of the movie on Facebook too.
Are Afros funny? The Japanese sure think so. There is a whole movie called Afro Tanaka (clicky for website) or watch the trailer.
The band Tsuru don the puffy wigs in support as they sing the theme to this movie which is based on the popular manga.
Get out your piks and pick up the single out 2.15.2012 at Yesasia.
Tsuru may have trademarked afrock.. find out at their official website.
Going Under Ground are some ugly mugs. Probably why they normally stay under ground. But these guys can sing and play great, and we get a beautiful acoustic song in “Ai Nante” which is also the theme to a J-movie Hara ga Kore Nande.
Watch the PV, enjoy the outdoors and then hunt down the single at CDJapan or Yesasia. It came out today 11.2.2011.
Go under ground and come out the other end HERE.
Superfly’s 14th single is the theme to the movie Smuggler Omae no Mirai wo Hakobe entitled “Ai wo Kurae” which looks like a violent fun time of a movie. The song is very bluesy, but sounds a hell of a lot like a Do As Infinity song to me.
If you want to see practically the whole damn movie for Smuggler, then watch the video above. You can also buy the single Ai wo Kurae from CDJapan or Yesasia out 10.12.2011.
Fly over to Superfly’s official website for more!
Koda Kumi’s latest video is for “Ai wo Tomenaide” and we get a short clip and partial side boob slip. That’s reason enough to prepare yourself for it’s release on 9.21.2011. Preorder from Yesasia or CDJapan.
This song is also part of a Japanese movie entitled “Second Virgin,” so we see clips of it throughout the video. Here is the official website.
You can always kick it with KK at her official website.
Sometimes I’m just awestruck. SCOTT GOES FOR pulls out the acoustic guitars and covers the classic “Arthur’s Theme” by Christopher Cross, which of course was used in the 1981 movie Arthur starring Dudley Moore. What can I say? +100! +1000!
THIS has made my Monday Morning. THIS is what makes the internet awesome. Visit SCOTT GOES FOR’s myspace page and tell them they rock.
So this Maria-Sama live action movie is based off the anime/manga Maria Sama Ga Miteru series. I really know nothing about it.. but it’s coming out in November and it caught my eyes and ears that CooRie has a song attached to the movie entitled “Heavenly Days.”
The single will be on the album of the same name (from what I understand), CooRie’s 5th album out 10.20.2010. Preorder from Yesasia.com or cdjapan.co.jp and be the cool kid at school.
Then check out the cool Maria-Sama live action official website, and CooRie’s official website and blog!
