Who said that being lonely meant you had to be sad? HYOLYN takes the high road and walks the streets with a smile on her face and her best foot forward in the bipolar ballad video for “Lonely.”
Her voice sounds sad, but her actions are A-OK happy, with the dancing and posing about. Hyolyn also looks stunning in every outfit or lack of outfit she wears in this video. Prepare to be wowed.
This song is on HyoLyn’s album Vol. 1-Love&Hate out 12.2.2013 at Yesasia. This SISTAR is totally doing it by herself.
Hit up Starship Entertainment’s facebook page to see a big sexy photo of Hyolyn.
Oohs and aahs! If you were missing the serious side of 2NE1, well “Missing You” is as serious as a snow fall, feather storm and flower pedal precipitation.
If anything, the video is colorful with some pretty cool imagery. I love the XXI symbol on the floor as we see this amazing pulled back overhead shot. And you might get a kick out of one of the members sans clothing.
The song is a ballad. It’s kind of depressing. The girls look sad and depressed. It’s kind of a downer overall, but still shows off how good the girls sound and that even a 2NE1 sad song is still a good song. Plus I like the popping percussion sound effects. ^_^
Buy it at iTunes right now! Like 2NE1 on Facebook.
Is there any thing sadder than riding the bus? How bout a piano ballad single called “涙” sung by the emotionally driven LEO.
Clinch your fist in the air and shake it and try to hold back the tears. Just maybe you’ll realize the bus isn’t all that bad after all.
LEO’s album Letters is out on 11.20.2013. Score it at Yesasia or CDJapan.
Mustaches rule at LEO’s official website.
Yamane Marina is back with her acoustic guitar for the ballad “Kimi won Suki ni Nattandarou.”
You actually hear more piano than guitar on this song, but the emotion in Yamane Marina’s voice tells you this is all ballad.
I’m not sure if this song was used in a movie or if what we see on the TV is just all part of the video.. but Natalie.mu breaks it all down.
Yamane Marina’s album Suki de Nayanderu Wake Jyanai was released on 5.29.2013. You can buy it at CDJapan.
Check out Yamane Marina’s official website for your latest news updates.
May I shine your shoes mister? Holy crap I wasn’t expecting to be moved to tears this morning to start November.. but SOFFEt’s soft swing beat hip hop lite video for “鼓動” will make you have feels for shoe shinesmen everywhere.

Bears Alive! Never has a stuffed bear been so loved and inspirational as in the video for Yuzu’s “Mamotte Agetai.”
I didn’t expect blue bear to come to life and start practicing ballet. Nor did I expect it to kick some bully ass. Whoop! Bear it is.
This video is 8 minutes of adorable. Yuzu’s ballad single drops on 11.13.2013 at Yesasia.
More Yuzu news awaits at the official website.
Taste the rainbow. Dee Chika goes school age with a song for the childrens.. in “Nijii.”
It’s a simple wah-wah sounding ballad with piano and lots of kid drawings of rainbows and happy faces. Kids are awesome.
Sway back and forth over to Yesasia and grab Nihontte released on 9.18.2013 at Yesasia.
The fabulous Dee Chika has a blog. Read it.
LADY CAT purrs out a slow hip hop ballad in “LAST DROP ~キャバ嬢LIFE~.” This song is a woeful tale of the hostess and the hope for shiny dreams.
There are lots of sparkly twinkly effects on this track and a sad piano to remind you of FEELS. LADY CAT”S gigantic hat might just be hiding her sad face.
The only thing missing is the single tear. Find it at iTUNES.jp on the DIAMOND EP.
MC LadyCat also has the purrfect blog.
Think Sayoko Izumi’s voice is an emotional high? Get a load of “Kasu” and feel the pain of having to wait until January 2014 for this single to drop.
Yep. Sayoko Izumi’s voice is amazing, and sad and soulful. “Kasu” stuns, and she can hit some high notes on this ballad. Still, you gotta wait until Jan 15th, 2013 to snatch her 4th single from CDJapan.
Hit up Sayoko Izumi’s official website for more.
It’s a whole school of kids with paper masks in the (is it Halloween yet?) Fullkawa Honpo video for “HOME.”
What a wonderful piano ballad single that has just as wonderful a video. The kids are at school at night.. with glowing lights and fireworks and of course their paper masks.
As for the song, you have piano, violins, and of course the magically soft voice of the Fullkawa. It’s damn good.
Fullkawa Honpo or Furukawa Honpo’s full album is entitled SOUP out 11.6.2013 at Yesasia.
Visit Fullkawa Honpo’s official website for more.
