Corpsnail is a very noise band from Beastworks. I really dig garage sounding guitars and unrefined rock, and they have something going on here. The lead singer scares me though. Haguri (I think that is his name) looks like he is in on a joke that no one else knows about and mumbles along through songs with a “I don’t give a fuck” attitude. Still not a terrible listen.
Their first full album Moonbase-Theatre hits either on March 3rd or March 8th depending on where you buy (you can preorder from yesasia.com). You can listen to some songs at their myspace page, but for the LOVE OF GOD DO NOT WATCH their video for Moonbase-theatre.
It’s rare that I find a video so WTFish that I bring out the “I cannot unsee this” internet meme. Yeah this video is bad. I recommend closing your eyes and listening to the song instead. But should you insist on actually enduring the pain I went through, go ahead:
