Acer Aspire One 11.6″ netbook-mini review
September 9, 2009
I bought the new ACER Aspire One with the 11.6″ screen for my wife yesterday. Oh and in RED.
After reading a few reviews, I bought one in-store at COMPUSA. Yes, COMPUSA does have actual stores in a few states including North Carolina. I don’t know why but I prefer to buy computers in person.
Please note this review is after 1 Day of use.
The good: Lightweight 3 lbs. BIG SCREEN. Perfect size if you don’t want a heavy laptop. I’m quite envious and wish I had one for myself. It runs XP home edition.
Connected right out of the box.. very simple and easy to use. Comes in 4 different colors. Only $350.
The bad: The Bloatware comes preloaded with crap that needs to be deleted immediately. Once you do that, the computer is actually pretty darn fast.
One button for left and right click (which isn’t totally awful).
Right now my wife and I are happy with the purchase. I will say again that the monitor size is really nice, and if you don’t want a heavy laptop, and just want to surf the net, this is a nice machine.
